Estonian Environment Agency offers several products and services that may be of use to organizations and individuals.
Estonian Environment Agency releases weather forecasts and issues warnings. Our skilled forecasters can put together weather forecasts for a specific area – good to know when you are planning an event. Weather Service also provides meteorological services specifically designed for aviation (www.lennuilm.ee).
Estonian Environment Agency offers you free weather warnings by e-mail (the warnings are in Estonian). We issue warnings as follows:
Please send us your request by e-mail [email protected] at least 7 days prior to the start of the service.
You can also download our weather app ILM+ to get weather warnings via push-notifications. The app can be used also in English.
You can also see the warnings of other European counties using the homepage http://www.meteoalarm.ee.
Weather in Estonia has been measured from the beginning of the 19th century. The oldest data in our archives is from 1805, but digital time series are available from 1961 (daily data) and some from 1901 (mean, max, min temperature and precipitation). Digitalization of the data is an on-going process. Contact us to enquire about the climate data available.
